A differential pressure pilot valve is installed on the main valve to detect differential pressure between the inlet and outlet side. This valve is especially suitable for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems of mid to high-rise buildings. It protects pump from overload by maintaining consistent differential pressure. Since this is a pilot operated valve, its capacity is relatively larger than direct acting type valves. This valve is generally used in closed systems to maintain consistent differential pressure.
